Tumblr User Demographics Display Affinity For Adult Content
[M]any of Tumblr’s most popular blogs are producing content for mature audiences only. Traffic data from Quantcast shows that 16/20 (80%) of the top blogs at Tumblr are primarily focused toward publishing adult content. What’s more, a few of those are quite disturbing and may even border on unlawful depending on the jurisdiction. It is currently unknown whether or not if Tumblr’s staff is aware of such activities.
Pleased to be in the good company of bendmeover and debauchette, equally pleased to have my name underlined in dramatic, obscene red (click through to the original post), yet deeply confused as to which of those blog mentioned are “quite disturbing.” Are facials and blowjobs that unsettling? I saw a lot of boring nude lady shots, but I don’t feel traumatized by them….
